Who Can? The Candyman Can!

I don’t really know what to think about the name “Bukkake Boys Gang“, but I love this track. I’ve always been a fan of the 1971 film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and that’s where the vocals come from….kind of. The ‘Candyman’ song wasn’t cut from the famous Sammy Davis Jr. version, but the one performed by the cadet choir on Malcolm in the Middle.

The track is reminiscent of classic Johnny Blaze production; using cheesy vocals for a bouncy club track. It’s a little short and the drums are simply, but the vocal carries the load and there’s a real nice touch in the form of a funky guitar loop set in the background.

I also enjoy the connection between Willy Wonka and the fact that the producers are Swiss. Drop this jam in the club and make it rain Toblerones!

Maybe the B.B.G. could put together another version of this using the original film version of the song.
