Mighty Mark and TT The Artist Get political with new Baltimore club banger
With the 2016 presidential election closely approaching, Baltimore club music hero Mighty Mark and the self-proclaimed club queen TT The Artist put a political twist on a classic Baltimore club loop just in
time for the election season.
Quote from TT The Artist:
“ F* Trump was a way for me to poke fun at the climate of this election season. Presently, we have a candidate, Mr. Trump, who has become the king of inappropriate outbursts and catch phrases that later go on to becoming memes, .gifs or viral videos i.e. “Grab her by the pussy.” I wanted to create a song that would encourage people to go out and vote and also be played in the clubs. Despite what side of the fence they fall on, democratic or republican everyone’s votes matters.
Quote from Mighty Mark:
When I was making the F Trump record I wanted it to have a raw protest vibe to it so I layered it with the siren esq sound. I also wanted to add some blips and blops sound effects so it’s not taken to serious and still a club record that people can dance to.
Baltimore’s lyrical assassin Greenspan is looking to cement his position in the rap game right next to the stars who have come before him. Following in the footsteps of his hip-hop idols that — namely Nas, UGK and AZ — Green lets his raps do all the talking for him. Teaming with TT The Artist, the “Never Gon Die” video is wild ride through the eyes of Greenspan and his like minded team. Putting his best foot forward on the machine gun like flow, his latest visuals find him letting off like a fully loaded AK-47.
