The Meek vs. Nagos joint isn’t on here, but the quote seems appropriate since Swizzy’s come pretty damn far. He’s gone from GIPB to Brick Bandits, played all over the Northeast, gotten Philly Club on Beatport (eww), and he has even proved that SovndclovdTRVP isn’t categorically whack (K Millz and a few others have done this too–Maybe it’s got something to do with the fact they’re not white dudes from the suburbs). What really makes Swaggyantz special though is that it is the closest thing Philly Club Music has seen to an official album release [I use the term Philly Club Music not as in club music from Philly, but, you know, phillyclubmusic, one word--sorry New Jack Philly].
