Rip Knoxx-Still Breathing & Jack The Ripler

Two new club tracks from Rip Knoxx of Dem 808z crew, help further illustrate that he is one of the most original and talented club producers in the world. Both tracks feel a little toned down from some of the more insane club tracks he released this year. He says “I’ve made too many complicated tracks. Why not go back to the way I used to be.”
The first track, “Still Breathing” once again samples Evanescense, a favorite of his, as well as other club producers like DJ_Skittles!. There is about a thirty second intro of the track “Hello” sped-up until it launches into signature Rip-style club stomp with a million tiny, tuned vocal samples.
The other new Rip track, “Jack The Ripler” has even more a a throw-back vibe, focusing relentlessly on that signature club stomp that climaxes about half-way through with the vocal “I feel insane” lifted from the Avenge Sevenfold song “Almost Easy” which Rip sampled previously and more extensively in his track “I Feel Insane”.
By the way, I’m pretty sure you’ll hear some Rip Knoxx tracks May 5th at King Of Baltimore, which is in it’s fifth year and is the biggest event in Baltimore Club Dancing. Buy Tickets for that here.
