Tonight Baltimore gets a special treat with Philly’s Swizzymack and Dirty South Joe performing at Cullen Stalin’s Posh Cavern night at Red Maple. Both DJ/Producers are associated with the Mad Decent and Brick Bandit crews. Swizzymack has been a favorite producer of mine lately with his heavy tracks pushing up to 155bpm and his unique ravey-synth stabs. He’s really talented at making bootleg remixes. Here are a couple:

Matic of Dem80z has steadily been releasing progressive Baltimore Club tracks for a while this newest offering is no exception. Ravey synths and cut-up original vocals courtesy of @KillaKizzy and Roc2eazy soon give way to a full-on club banger. Dem808z are a crew to watch for and keep up with.

Freaky Jay of K.O.D, who I don’t know much about, but I asume is from Baltimore, recently uploaded a G6 diss. G6 is notable at the very least, for the sheer amount of his output, as the prolific producer usually uploads tracks like every other day. Guessing by the comments between the producers at the start of the G6 track, these guys are cool and just messing around. There is some cool stuff happening in these tracks nontheless, like the blown out bass drum in the Freaky Jay track. Check them out below.

New mixtape from the incredible Baltimore DJ Mark Brown features perfect track selection and mixing all the way from the opening DJ-Ra-Eazy and DJ Dyce collab to the closing DJ_SKITTLES! track. This mix collects the most current, cutting-edge Shakeoff-style Baltimore Club and mixes it with appropriate sprinkles of Jersey, Ballroom and Classic House. My favorite mix I’ve heard so far this year.

Baltimore-based electronic singer-songwriter and producer Phoebe Jean gets a remix from MTM’s Pacbreezy. Really feeling this track. Keep a look out for a new Phoebe Jean video featuring PacBreezy and his #ShakeoffTwin Mario coming soon!
