Another banger from the talented PKE crew. Don’t sleep on them. This remix of Mya’s “Case of the Ex“, courtesy Philly’s K-Breeze sounds like a awesome Philly/Jersey hybrid. All sexy repetitive R&B chops but with sirens underneath at a really fast tempo, and those weird warbly auto-tune drops only Philly dudes use.
This is some serious Gospel Club. You could definitely catch the holy spirit dance with this track. Previously, the legendary Jonny Blaze had brought some serious God Worship into club with tracks like his “Dance My Pain Away” Cover/Remix “Pray My Pain Away“. This track takes things in a less traditional direction, with big Trance Synths, Dutch-House Leads, and alternating back and forth between a club beat, and a kind of Electro-House feel. On top of all that, the vocals are cut-up in a way that reminds me more of Footwork, than normal club treatment. Los is up to something serious here. NOTE: not to be confused with the Los from MTM who is also making some incredible Club Tracks, or local rapper Los who is also excellent and recently (re-!)signed to Bad Boy.
Check out the rest of the Gospel-Club Los on his soundcloud all his track are amazing.
